Finding our land

Leading up to the end of 2015, my husband and I started discussing possible investment opportunities. We toyed around with the idea of renting out our Ropes Crossing home and moving into the city to be closer to work.

We decided against the idea as we couldn't picture living in a tiny 2 bedder and having to pay $800k for it, without a nice little garden for the furbaby, of course.   

I started researching and reading up on new developing Estates in the area. Notably, the North West Growth Area and began signing up to all the new Estates I could think of. 

We finally set our sights on Elara, Marsden Park and after a few missed opportunities, managed to secure an appointment, and on the 11th of June 2016, put down a deposit for a 406sqm lot.

Needless to say, we were ecstatic.
